Julie Rebboah
Founder and President
Julie has years of experience with young
learners. She has been a professional educator since 1998 and has taught at an award-winning California school. In addition to classroom teaching, she has been an early reading intervention instructor, English
language development teacher, and a private reading tutor.
She started her company, Lightning Bug
Learning, to provide educational support to
children and provide affordable educational resources for parents and
teachers. These materials assist children in
learning to read and write. She also devotes time to presenting
workshops to educators at conferences across the country and is a literacy adviser for ZiggityZoom.com.
Christophe Rebboah
Co-Founder and Vice-President
Chris Rebboah specializes in working with children and adolescents in the mental health field. With a Master's in Psychology, he has utilized his Marriage and Family Therapy training to work closely with various family, school and county agencies to get troubled youth back on track.
Chris believes that all children can be successful with the right support system.
He co-founded Lightning Bug Learning to provide developmentally appropriate educational support to help young learners succeed.
Chris and Julie live in Lake Oswego, Oregon. They love to spend time with their two young children. Reading and sharing books together is a favorite family event!

Most of our products are books and can me mailed to you through USPS Media Mail. Media mail saves you money for shipping, but can take up to three weeks to arrive. This is a great option if you're not in a hurry.
We recommend ground shipping for the fastest service. We ship your items through either USPS Priority Mail, or UPS. Ground shipping comes with a tracking label!
